Jangle Pop/Power Pop: Dot Dash - Earthquakes & Tidal Waves (2015 The Beautiful Music)

Dot Dash is not to be confused with the French band of almost the same name. Among the French, the name ends with an exclamation mark that is missing from the band from Ottawa, Canada. Dot Dash from Canada have meanwhile released 5 albums and are completely convincing with each one.

The band plays Power Pop with a focus on pop melodies and songs that remind me of the seventies. This is a great album without any weaknesses and if the world would be fair, the band would stand with their songs high up in the charts. The album was produced by Mitch Easter. Any questions?
